Let us design a bespoke event or course, combining walks, art, writing, storytelling, eco-therapeutic techniques, and mountain days
Whether you want to foster relaxation and enjoyment or you prefer a focus on learning, growth and skills, we’ll arrange it for you
We work from stunning, accessible venues across North Wales, and we pride ourselves on creating an inclusive and relaxed atmosphere

Wellbeing in nature

Our wellbeing courses and workshops are professionally facilitated by a qualified team – Caroline is an ecopsychologist and Mia is a NatureWell Facilitator. We can work with groups of up to 12 people at a time, including neurodiverse people and those with limited mobility. Timings are flexible: you can book an afternoon, a day, a weekend, or a six-part health and wellbeing course at a range of specialist, accessible venues across North Wales. This case study is an example of what we can do.

Our delivery is grounded in the evidenced-based NatureWell approach to health and wellbeing, as well as psychological models like Polyvagal Theory and Positive Psychology. Our aim is for participants to learn a range of new practices that they can integrate into their everyday lives, enhancing their long-term wellbeing.

Participants will both experience and learn about:

Nature-Based Mindfulness (NBM)
Grounding techniques
How to create a calm and peaceful mindset
Natural regulation of nervous system
Positive psychology with a focus on nature-based experiences
Trauma-informed polyvagal techniques
How to make sense of life’s challenges and loss
Emotional vitality and resilience

Creativity in nature

All of these events include nature-connection activities. You can opt to bring your group to the shoreline, lakes, hills, or forests across North Wales. We’ll supply high-quality materials, including handmade inks, archival-quality paper. A popular choice is for participants to make small booklets to take home, with high-quality materials and easy-to-follow instructions, such as the workshop we delivered for the Snowdonia Society.

We also offer storytelling, poetry, and creative nature writing workshops.

Our art & nature days are gently facilitated by artist Caroline, combining time in nature, studio time, and optionally, a gentle walk. They’re designed to stimulate people’s innate creativity and joy, with absolutely no experience necessary.

Guided walks and mountain days

Our guided walks and mountain days are carefully planned and led by Mia, a qualified Mountain Leader. We can offer you low-level walks with tons of archeaological and natural interest, hikes to the highest and most remote peaks in Eryri, and mountain confidence workshops.

We work with small participant to leader ratios to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable day. Your group will benefit from a pre-walk video call so that participants feel prepared, as well as an on-the-day briefing. For larger groups, you can opt for female guides or mixed-gender leadership.

Case studies

I really enjoyed the art and nature-connection workshop that you created for our Lines in the Landscape programme – it was so well done. I’m so pleased that we were able to offer this event to our volunteers and supporters.

The day was a great blend of peace, activity and creativity. Having time and space like that is really beneficial to people, and it was really special for me. You were both great at leading the different parts of the day, and the positive dynamic between you created a really nice atmosphere where everyone could join in.

The art-making was brilliant! Caroline was great at giving people the freedom to express themselves, which is really special. The materials were amazing! It was exciting to be able to use natural inks, premium paper, and found objects to create a booklet that participants will treasure as a reminder of paths they have walked and loved.

Thank you for facilitating pilot programmes for the GLLM Potensial Programme on behalf of TEC Wales in academic year 2023/24. It was an absolute pleasure to attend the last Wellbeing in Nature session in Bangor, and I was humbled to hear how much the learners gained from attending the sessions.

Your nature-based programmes offer a well-rounded approach to learning and personal development, combining physical, mental and social benefits. They stimulate curiosity, creativity, and resilience. It is inspiring to see participants re-ignite their love for learning and connection with nature.

Thank you as well for your professionalism and promptness in delivering these courses. We look forward to collaborating with you over the coming years.
