Join Charlotte and Caroline to immerse yourself in a rejuvenating experience that blends the serenity and beauty of nature with the revitalising and nourishing practice of yoga.

As we head into summer, this Vitality Flow workshop is designed to awaken your senses and open to the joy of summer, boost your sense of energy, and foster a deeper connection with both your inner self and the natural world around you. You’ll leave the day with a sense of renewed vitality and stillness, a deepened connection to nature ready for the summer months, and practical tools to help maintain energy and presence using nature, yoga and mindfulness.

The morning yoga will include flowing yoga sequences and breath connection to activate natural energy sources and vitality. This session will finish with deep relaxation. The afternoon yoga session will deepen your connection to the present through the practice of mindful yoga and a mini meditation.

In the nature sessions, Caroline will support you with an eco-therapeutic perspective to the day. As spring flows into summer, we’ll look at the nature around us in its full flush of life, and we’ll take time to connect to the land around us at Pensychnant and that which is blooming within ourselves. We’ll spend time enjoying this seasonal blossoming and exploring how we are also part of that joyful expression of life. We’ll reflect on what it is that supports us to join the energetic flow of life, and what we wish to say a wholehearted yes to!

Your team for the day

Charlotte Vickery is a qualified Yoga, Mindfulness Teacher and Supervisor, and a Clinical Psychologist & Holistic Therapist.

Caroline is an artist and an eco-therapy & and nature-based practitioner. Her background is in supporting people with mental health conditions, disabilities, and neurodiversity within educational and charitable organisations.

What to expect on the day

The event will run from 10 am to 4 pm. There will be time for you to enjoy the nature around Pensychnant, and we'll also spend time inside. While the venue is accessible, please contact us if you have concerns – we will try to accommodate your needs.

The yoga in this workshop will be suitable for beginners; adaptions will also be offered.

The ticket price includes tea, coffee and homemade cake (vegan option available), hopefully served in the garden if the weather allows! Please bring your own lunch.

Pensychnant Conservation CentreVenue

Pensychnant Conservation Centre, Sychnant Pass Rd, Conwy LL32 8BJ

Pensychnant Conservation Centre is at the top of the Sychnant Pass, about 2½ miles from Conwy or Penmaenmawr on the North Wales coast. There is free parking on site. Unfortunately there is no access by public transport due to cuts to local bus services. If you know someone else who’s coming, perhaps you can car share?

If you’re coming from Penmaenmawr along Sychnant Pass Road, you will need to take a very sharp left turn where the sign for the Centre is. Please note that this track is rutted, and you’ll need to drive with care.

What to bring

The weather in North Wales can be quite variable. For your comfort and safety, we ask you to bring the following items:

  • Sturdy, comfortable footwear
  • Waterproof jacket and trousers
  • Warm fleece or jumper
  • Warm hat and gloves
  • Any medication that you require

You’ll also need to bring:

  • Yoga mat
  • Comfortable, stretchy warm clothing
  • Blanket and cushion
  • Yoga blocks (optional)
  • Eye mask (optional)
  • Picnic blanket or sit mat so you can sit and relax outdoors
  • Packed lunch and snacks
  • Water bottle

Photos and feedback

We’d like your permission to use your photos and feedback on the day for marketing purposes, including on social media. It’s easy to refuse either while booking or on the day.
