Introducing our Community Events
Our Community Events are where we, Guided by Nature, walk our talk! By giving our time freely, we give back to our local community and our beautiful natural world.
We believe everyone can learn how to reconnect more deeply with nature to benefit their mental health and well-being. Our low-cost Community Events make this available to everyone.
We’re serious about our responsibility to care for our wild places and help nature thrive. Nature gives to us freely, so it’s important that we don’t just take from nature and use it as a ‘resource’ to make us feel better. At Guided by Nature, we believe in reciprocation; an exchange of give and take.
Our Community Events aren’t just about how we give back – they’re also an opportunity for attendees to give back. We ask people to make a small donation in order to attend. We pass these donations to North Wales Wildlife Trust to support their vital work in restoring nature locally.

- Like-minded businesses and organisations
- Our precious, wild and more-than-human kin, who are are at the heart of what we do
How do I attend and what can I expect?
Our Community Events often have a seasonal theme, loosely based on the wheel of the year. We spend time outdoors together connecting with nature and each other. Sometimes we walk, and other times we’re based at a local venue. Some of our venues are wheelchair accessible. We also offer online webinars about eco-psychology and nature-based practice. What about the donation?
Donations are made to North Wales Wildlife Trust, registered charity number 230772. Your donation will be passed on in full, minus card processing fees of about 28p per £5 donation.
If £5 is too much for you, do email us. We can offer a free place without a donation for those who truly need it. Just ask.
